As someone who passionately follows information technology since childhood - for fun and for work - I put a lot of thought into my tech stack. Not a single day goes by where I don't sift through the latest software and hardware news, always on the hunt for the best tools and gadgets that meet my requirements and match my taste. *Last Update: 23.03.2025 (work in progress)* ## Software I can't live without - Readwise (and Readwise Reader) - I read a lot, and it's important for me to remember what I learned. Readwise is perfect for capturing highlights from physical books, eBooks, newsletters, articles from my RSS feeds, podcasts (via Snipd) and literally everything else I'm reading. Over the years, I built a massive library containing knowledge that's very valuable to me. Each day, Readwise selects a few of those highlights and makes me revisit them. It also syncs with Obsidian, where my Markdown-based database of highlights is backed up to and waiting to be referenced in my writing. Readwise Reader became a beloved companion to organize my RSS feeds and newsletters for daily reading. - Obsidian - Reading and writing goes hand in hand. It's the habit that helps me think and keeps me sane ([Why I Write](Blog/Why%20I%20Write.md)). I'm a big fan of the markdown format. Because it's raw text it will stand the test of time, no matter how technology evolves. Steph Ango, the CEO of Obsidian, brilliantly captured this philosophy in his blog post "[File over app](https://stephango.com/file-over-app)". Obsidian is the one notes and general writing app that I keep going back to, no matter which other fancy writing tool I play with (I guess you can call this an obsession of mine). Also, this blog is written and published from within Obsidian, thanks to [Obsidian Publish](https://obsidian.md/publish). This seamless workflow from writing to publishing is a perfect example of Obsidian's minimalistic approach to the craft of productization. - Peloton - Waking Up - 1Password - YouTube Music - Snipd - Apple TV+ - UniFi
